Lean activities continued to clean floor tiles to promote team building

In order to create a clean and pleasant working environment and create a lean 5S on-site management and improvement atmosphere, the company’s lean management leadership committee decided to organize a clean office building corridor staircase and floor tile group construction activity on the afternoon of July 25, 2020.

After a week of intensive preparations by the company’s preparatory team, at 1:30 pm on July 25, all employees arrived on time to sign in.

At the beginning of the meeting, Peking University’s Lean Consulting Management Expert Zhou Xia explained the team building activity plan, introduced the rules of the activity and health and safety precautions (as shown in Figure 1).

This event implements a competition system. All participating employees are divided into ten groups, each with four people, and a clean area. The cleaning work is completed within the specified time.

The first prize will be selected by a jury composed of Peking University’s lean consulting management experts. One group, second prize group two, and third prize group three (as shown in Figure 2).

After the event officially started, all participating group members brought their cleaning tools to their respective cleaning areas for cleaning activities.

At that time, the temperature was 35°C. Everyone was sweating like rain, sweating, and enjoying it.

They rushed to clean their respective areas and thoroughly cleaned the dead spots. Regarding stubborn stains, each group used their own wisdom and talents and tried their best to remove them completely (as shown in Figure 4 to Figure 6.

Finally, check the deficiencies against the cleaning standards, and after confirming that there are no problems, the judges are invited to conduct acceptance and scoring.

In this event, in the scorching sun, strong summer, and steaming summer, the competition showed its will, the style, and the results.

It also showed the team spirit and the belonging of the employees. sense.

The employees who participated in the event said that the event brought us not only the improvement of the environment and material gains but also spiritual washing and sublimation. Working together is happy, working together is happy.
